When boiling your vegetables some of the nutrients go away with it. That’s why it’s great to steam your veggie’s. Not only will it keep the nutrients intact, it will also keep them at a nice, bright green color. You don’t have a steamer? Don’t worry! It’s easy to make your own little steamer at home.
How to make your own easy steamed veggie’s:
- Take you wok and fill it with 1 inch of water. Bring to a boil.
- Put your veggie’s in there. Cover with a lid, and lower the heat to medium high. Let sit for 5-7 minutes (after 7 minutes the green color goes away, leaving the veggie’s look sad and olive green).
- Tadaa! Enjoy your nutritious, green, steamed vegetables.
